Troubleshooting

Problem: System Monitor 3 won't load

Solution 1: Is Microsoft Silverlight 2 installed in your system? To run System Monitor 3, you'll need Silverlight 2. (Download)
Solution 2: If you're running a 64-bit version of Windows, you'll need to start Sidebar as 32-bit process. Sidebar will run as 64-bit process on 64-bit Wíndows by default. After change to 32-bit Sidebar, all previous running gadgets will be loaded again. (more information)

Problem: Can't change settings, after closing setting dialog there's just a white area in Sidebar

Solution: This problem has only be noticed on system running Vista RTM without any Service Pack installed. Please install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (or above).
